Three is the charm
NEW* Available Now: Vaudeville 1922

1922, the Bedford Theater in Brooklyn, New York, was a toilet. The smell of garlic and oil sandwiches mixed with cheap cigar smoke hung in the stale air, which formed a bluish grey cloud above the entire inside of the theater. The Bedford was known for its bad lighting, mediocre band, dust everywhere, and possessed an audience that had heard it all and seen it all. Most acts that performed there were either on their way up to The Palace Theatre on Broadway or on the way down to the theaters of Nacogdoches, Texas or Sioux City, Iowa.

Three is the charm
Available Now: Transmutation Blues

It was July fourth and as usual I was in a state of dark depression. Everything used to be so easy. Then. Now… it's hard. I tried to lift my spirits in the various ways I had developed. None of them worked. I broke my diet and ate an everything bagel with melted Manchego cheese covered in horseradish. –Fail. I watched two Laurel and Hardy movies. In fact, the second film was Sons of the Desert, which is one of the greatest comedies of all time. –Fail. I became desperate and thought of reaching into my faux-suicide routine, which has been compared to a Times Square New Year's Eve Party on speed. There was only one person that I knew who had the tools to save me: my dear old pal F.S. Lif. So I called him up, told him of my funk and he came right over.

Ian's book "You're not supposed to be here".
Mark Twain was known for loathing all travel, except on foot.  Inspired by this, Ian Finkel developed a hatred for all forms of travel...Period...No exceptions.  In this book, Ian displays his dislike and frustration for many places in the world (amongst many other things), lacing them with his insanity and deep-dish Jewish guilt.  The book includes dozens of statements by the greats of history with Ian lashing back at them Brooklyn Style.  His current musical-show business career is the back drop for his disasters, tirades and disappointments.  You'll laugh, you'll cry, you'll e-mail.
